Only the Swedish market it self has over 1.2 Million iPhones sold with Android devices around the corner increasing in numbers for every week. A billion dollar market
When looking at the mobile app market, revenue is projected to surpass $15.1 billion in 2011, both from end users buying applications and applications themselves generating advertising revenue for their developers. This is a 190 percent increase from 2010 revenue of $5.2 billion. Revenue Between 2010 and 2014 is Forecast to Grow 1,000 Percent to Reach $58 Billion says Gartner in a report from January 26th.
